Sometimes, when I just can’t figure out what to wear, I turn to the neutrals in my closet. Neutrals have a way of pulling together any look in a classic and refined manner. When the neutrals come out, I feel as though you’re communicating a presence, but in a silent way. After a busy busy week, I was in that exact mood: wanting to have a presence without having to actually make one. And being a firm believer that what I wear communicates how I am feeling, I opted for a subdued palate of tans and blacks, with some new accessories and loafers (absolutely loving the bling hidden in the heels!).

A quick note about these flats! I love high fashion, but I also love finding amazing steals! When I was in Ann Taylor this past weekend and laid my eyes on these flats I was immediately reminded of this Miu Miu pair I had been swooning over (yet, could never justify). If you’re looking for a splurge/steal, these flats are definitely them!
