I’ve always found that each season brings in its own take on the neutral color pallet. In the summer I love an all white ensemble… it’s crisp, pure, and refreshing. Yet, as we move into the “cooler” weather months, I naturally gravitate toward darker neutral tones. Dark beiges, blacks, and greys (or gray… however you want to spell it) top my list. And contrary to the feeling of an all white ensemble, these darker tones, when paired all together, give me the feeling of refined sophistication. Not yet ready to make the transition into all blacks (that’ll probably come sometimes next week….) I find a total grey outfit to be the perfect compromise between the beige-black pull. When paired with this light blush top it adds a complimenting touch of femininity to an otherwise “edgier” look.
As always I wish everyone a glorious two days off of work! I’ll be celebrating baby Harper with my dearest family and friends, and can’t wait to see some special friends who have flown in from out of town!
