I’ve always had a thing for hats. I remember there were several hats purchased in Hawaii, on numerous family vacations, cute beanies for ski trips (because we all know it rarely gets cold enough in So. Cal to wear one on a regular basis), the obligatory sports cap (Bears preferred, will accept Chargers too), and the floppy felt hats just because (maybe to channel my inner boho). I don’t know what it is about them. I think it’s their versatility and “game-changing” capabilities. I mean, a terrible hair day can be covered up with one fabulous hat. That sun? Shade your face with a cute cap. That plain white-tee and jeans? A floppy felt hat is the perfect accessory to take it up a notch (note, I restrained from using the lingo “jazz it up a bit,” it’s a little too cliché don’t you think?). Which is exactly what I did, numerous times this past weekend. I hope I don’t overload with “hat mania!”
