I knew this day would come, and it did. Maybe I just wasn’t ready for it, but it arrived early Tuesday morning. The day I officially could no longer button my pants. I prepared myself for it, and really didn’t think it would be that big of a deal… but it was. I had the outfit I was going to wear planned out in my mind, and when those jeans were just a little too uncomfortable around the waistline, I knew I couldn’t force it. I frantically began searching for an alternative outfit… but nothing sufficed. Then I remembered my sweet friend who had sent me a bellaband when the bump was still non-existant. Relief set in. As I took it out of the packaging, panic again. How do I work this thing (and yes, I realize it doesn’t take a rocket scientist… when the adrenaline is running, and you’re running late, everything requires a little more mental effort)? Once I had it situated I could breathe. And breathe I did. I mean, I am seriously contemplating wearing this thing post-pregnancy… going an entire day with unbuttoned pants, completely hidden from the outside world, WHY?? WHY! didn’t I invent this??

All of this to say, simple body-con dresses like this one (which comes in a multitude of colors… already snatched up the burgundy one) and I have become fast best friends. Dressing them up and down is simple, and I really want to take advantage of the whole “I don’t have to suck my stomach in” factor while I can!
