It’s no secret that one of my favorite ways to dress up my basic everyday outfits is with the jewelry I choose to layer. I love how jewelry has the ability to elevate any look, and how you can easily change the feel of an outfit by how many pieces you have layered together. I tend to opt for pieces that are on the daintier side + save more statement making pieces for certain occasions. I shared my guide for layering jewelry several months ago, and not much has changed. I don’t follow any specific rules, but I tend to regularly opt for a shorter necklace, a mid length necklace, and a longer one (and then fill in from there with whatever feels right). For my bracelets, I choose several dainty ones, all layered together, and then toss in a thicker one for texture.
My go-to brands for the past several years are Gorjana (always), Isabel Marant, Shashi, BaubleBar, + Miranda Fry(10% off with code SHANNON) + today I’m sharing my current go to pieces, that I wear daily. Yet, I am always mixing in my older favorites as well, so nothing really stays out of rotation that long…..
(*And, I’m excited that I have a special discount code with Gorjana…. SHANNON20… valid until 11.23.19*)
MY CURRENT GO-TO PIECES
Lola + James Name Necklace: I wear this dainty name necklace, with both the girl’s names, daily. I love how dainty it looks + it layers so well with all my favorites.
Gorjana Eloise Gem Pendant: This beautiful pendant necklace can easily be adjusted to various lengths depending on how you want to layer it… make it the shorter length or the longest… it’s super versatile.
Ana Coin Lariat: This was a necklace I purchased about a month ago and wasn’t sure how I would like it. Well, I love it, and wear it almost daily. I was nervous that it would be too statement making, but for some reason it just works with everything, effortlessly.
Ana Coin Pendant Necklace: The longer length of this necklace lets it layer in seamlessly with all my shorter necklaces… and it’s perfect for everyday life.
Alessandra Necklace: I bought this necklace back in the summer and still love mixing it in with all the pieces above. I also like adding this black + gold capri necklace (super dainty) into the mix when I’m wearing it. It’s a longer length, so it layers with the capri necklace nicely.
Casablanca Bracelet: I purchased this dainty black + gold bracelet early in the summer + I wear it everyday. I love that it adds some dimension to the layers of gold that I wear on my wrist.
Walter Bracelet: Another item, similar to the Ana Coin Lariat, that I purchased and was unsure of how it would look with my other pieces. I basically pulled it out of the box and have worn it everyday since. It’s thicker, without being gaudy… and I just love how it looks with my daintier items.
London Bracelet: The Miranda Frye piece I wear daily… it’s so dainty. I purchased it for my sister’s birthday and she loves it too. Great everyday option.
Parker Bracelet: If you’re looking for a bracelet between the Walter and the London, then this is a great option. Really lightweight and pairs well with the Ana Coin Lariat.
Riva Kite Diamond Bracelet: A gift from my parents, I wear this regularly. I love that it has sentimental value, all while being dainty + statement making.
Balboa Shimmer Small Drop Studs: The perfect everyday earring. It’s super dainty, with a touch of shimmer.
OLDIES THAT I LOVE TO MIX WITH NEWBIES
Cayne Crescent Pendant Necklace: I’ve had this necklace for four years… and it’s one of my favorites to mix in with newer pieces. It’s a classic I’ll have for years.
Chloe Mini Necklace: Another dainty piece that can easily mix + match with any necklace. I bought this for my mom as well and she wears hers daily.
