My Favorite Beek Sandals + How I Wear Them

There are a few wardrobe essentials that feel quintessentially summer… and I’d have to say that a chic, yet still comfortable, pair of sandals is right up there at the top of the list. A pair that I can easily toss on with just about any outfit, and that elevates a simple summer look. A pair that I can toss into a suitcase, without hesitation, because I know it combines comfort, practicality, and style. Yes, sandals are hands down one of my summer essentials….

One of my favorite shoe brands, Beek, gave me a 10% discount code (ITSYBITSYINDULGENCES10) so I thought I would share some of my favorite Beek sandals and the various ways that I wear them… I find them to be so versatile and a great staple for the summer season.

And with that I hope everyone has a good weekend ahead! These pool rafts arrived earlier this week and I can’t wait to relax in one of them this weekend (that is, if the girls don’t take them over, haha)… hope you have something relaxing planned as well.

CASUAL

Sandals are obviously easiest worn dressed down, and I like to think that the Beek sandals really elevate an everyday casual outfit with their classic, yet still unique, designs. They are comfortable enough for all day wear, so I love slipping them on with my outfits for both style and comfort. The two most comfortable pairs are the Galito and Sugarbird, the two pairs I find myself reaching for the most. I also love the elevated look the Pelican Jute pair adds, and the songbird, in the platinum, makes a subtle statement.

CASUAL DRESSY

So obviously we’re not going to a super dressy outing in sandals, but I think for a casual dressy day or night, they’re a beautiful option. I’ve worn both the platinum songbirds and the sugarbirds out for dressier occasions and they both compliment the outfit beautifully… not too dressy, but not a flip flop, for a great balance. I haven’t dressed the pelican pair up yet, but I think the platform, and the extra height it gives, makes it a great dressier option.

TRAVEL

When I’m traveling I want to be comfortable-whether it’s by car or plane… and for the majority of my travels (since we could start traveling again) I’ve been wearing either the Galito or the Sugarbird. They stay on my feet, so I’m able to walk quickly, if need be, and as I’ve mentioned before, they’re supremely comfortable.
