Monthly Series || Favorite Products February: Food, Beauty, Home, + Fashion

Happy Friday friends…we made it! TJ+ I are heading out of town this weekend for our Anniversary/Babymoon + can’t wait for a little rest + relaxation. Sharing some of my favorite products from February in today’s post…. I haven’t been as experimental with food products lately… blame it on pregnancy… but added a home section since we’ve been doing so much in that department lately….

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

FOOD

1. Bob’s Red Mill Museli: I love museli for the very reason that it can be made the evening before. I’ve tried several different kinds and this brand has become a favorite as of late. Slightly sweet…. hearty + filling…. it’s a tasty breakfast that will lave your tastebuds satisfied.

BEAUTY

1. Tom Ford Glow Drops:  (Liquid Sun) I’ve gone through so many different products in search of something to give me the perfect glow…. and while there are plenty of powders that do the trick(this one is my favorite) I was looking for something slightly more intense. After a bit of research, I decided to give these liquid drops a try. I was a tad nervous about the hefty price tag, but after one use could see the glow. Sold. I’ve been using them daily every since… and that was two weeks ago.

2. Moroccan Hair Oil:  I’ve always thought of this brand as the “original” hair oil…. but have never given it a try. The one I was using (AVA brand) had a scent to it that I ended up becoming slightly aversive to as of late, so I decided to try this line. I’ve been super happy with it’s subtle scent, as well as how it has worked to strengthen the right side of my head’s hair (is it just me, or does anyone else have a “weak” side of hair???)…. and the shine it provides is pretty amazing too.

HOME

1. Entryway Runner Rug: I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this rug when I ordered it, but when it arrived I fell in love with the beautiful colors + quality. I really never thought to look at Urban Outfitters for home decor (since I’m always looking at Anthro) but lately I have found so many great home pieces there, and this rug is one of them. We’ve had it for about a month and it’s held up really well in a very high traffic area.

2. Faux Cactus: Another purchase I made that I was originally on the fence about…. and it has become one of my favorite items in our home. I get asked all the time as to whether or not it is real…. which tells me that it does a great job of being “real fake…..” And the fact that it comes with a basket made it that much easier… and worth it.

3. Bar Stools: I’ve mentioned these before, but they were actually my first choice for our island stools that we ended up not going with. When the second choice arrived, we immediately sent them back and ordered these. They have been nothing short of amazing. We actually eat dinner there everyday and they have done a great job withstanding those messy toddler meals. They’re very comfortable, nicely padded, and I have found them relatively easy to clean.

FASHION

1. Striped Pullover:  This is such a good, oversized pullover, that I have it in three colors. Front tuck it if you’re not pregnant and wear it with jeans and cut-offs in the summer months. I can’t wait to wear it to our sunset beach nights this summer… it’s such an easy throw on and go piece… and is also amazingly comfortable for lounging.

2. White Lace Blouse:  If you’re looking for a beautiful date night top, that also works for the 9-5, then this one is for you. It hangs beautifully, has gorgeous lace detailing and will work for both spring and summer. For summer top it with a straw hat + cut-offs for a fun brunch outfit. Styled here.

3. Breathe Workout/Lounge Tank: Another favorite from Jockey is this tank…. I own it in black and white and it literally feels like I’m not wearing anything when I have it on… so it truly lives up to it’s name. I sized up to a M to cover the bump, but will easily be able to wear it post pregnancy as well. I wear it for my morning workouts.

4. Ribbed Bodycon Dress:  I finally decided I’d had enough of winter weather and bought this bodycon dress. I’d had my eye on it for several months and decided that for the last 6 weeks of pregnancy I wanted to feel good in what I was wearing, and this dress fit the bill the moment I tried it on…. soft on the skin and hugs in great places (with some support of course)… it’s a piece that will be on heavy repeat this summer too (again, with some support of course #postpreggobelly).

5. Studded Slides: I’ve shared these several times (most recently here) but these are so comfortable. Very padded and easy to keep on the feet (i.e. they’ll stay on if you’re chasing a toddler), I love them because they easily dress up an otherwise basic outfit. I’ve worn them so much lately and always receive compliments.

6. Rope Bucket Bag: I saw this one during the Shopbop sale, but thought it was a little too trendy to make the splurge. So when I saw this identical option, for a fraction, I decided to snag it. So happy I did. Very well made, and a fun little tote for spring + summer. It’s another piece that gets so many compliments when I wear it.

7. Post Workout Pullover: Somehow I’ve managed to amass more cropped pullovers during pregnancy…. and this one is the most recent addition. I love how the cropped feel makes you feel so much more pulled together post workout (put in reality I wear this thing all day….). I can’t wait to wear them post pregnancy as well with my favorite high waisted leggings.

8. Waffle Knit Thermal: I always know when I’m going to add something to this post when the moment I get it I end up wearing it several days in a row…. and this thermal is one of them. It’s fitted, in a beautiful neutral hue, so I feel like it doesn’t even look like a “thermal.” Another easy piece to wear fully tucked into cut-offs this summer.

9. Open Knit Sweater: (featured above) These sweaters are my weakness. There is just something effortless about a slouchy open knit, and this one is amazing. Wear with jeans, shorts, joggers, leggings… the options are endless… and it’s a perfect knit for the warmer months.

10. Beyond Yoga Leggings: All I can say is “butter soft” about these leggings. I promise. And the color is so fun for spring!

11. Chunky Open Knit:  (seen above) If you’re looking for a knit a little heavier than the Free People option, than this one is an excellent option. It’s on regular rotation over here and is super soft. It comes in a few color options… all great for spring.

12. Oversized Blazer: I was getting a little tired of cardigans, so when I saw that this blazer went on sale I decided to give it a try. It’s more of an oversized fit for my smaller frame, but that was something that drew me to it. Comfortable, yet chic… I love it paired with lightwash denim and leggings.
