TGIF! Seriously. The week after vacation is typically full of transitions and settling back into life…. but this one was one for the books. We’re running on a couple hours of sleep over here, so the weekend is looking pretty nice right about now. We have a few plans, but depending how little miss is feeling we’ll make decisions as to if we need to cancel or not. I hope you all have a great weekend too!

Sharing my favorite products from the past month today…. with a huge beauty section with all my favs that are currently on sale…..
______________

FOOD:

1. Trader Joe’s Green Goddess Dressing: I was sharing my favorite Primal Kitchen dressings on instagram and so many people recommended that I try this dressing from Trader Joe’s. At first I wasn’t sold. Yet, after a few uses, we’ve (TJ + I) have become hooked. It’s made from all real ingredients and tastes good on anything… egg scrambles, wraps, pasta, salmon…. get my drift? You can find it in the refrigerated section by the lettuces.

2. Saffron Roads Seasoned Chickpeas: I had been roasting my own chickpeas for salads and wraps, but sometimes, when I don’t have time these are super easy to reach for. I also love how crispy they are… they’re like adding a healthy crouton to your salad. I’ve only tried the Sea Salt flavor, but they are delish. I get mine at Sprout’s.

3. Outer Aisle Cauliflower Pizza Crust: I picked these up after wanting to try something different for our homemade pizza nights. They were great. Smaller than the Trader Joe’s crust, but they didn’t lack in flavor! I’m still working on getting the exact timing to get it crispy. I got mine at Whole Foods.

Beauty:

Doing things a little differently here today! Since Sephora is having their Beauty Insider Sale (super easy to sign up for here… I did it in 2 minutes yesterday) I thought I’d share with you some of my beauty favorites that are included!

1. Kopari Coconut Deodorant:  I’d been looking for a good, non-toxic, deodorant that could stand the test of my rigorous workouts and was hesitant at first. I took this one on it’s first test to a spin class (apprehensively) and in the end my conclusion was that it was amazing! No body odor at all…. and it actually still smelled really good. I use it daily…. workouts + everyday life… and am so happy with it!

2. Kate Sommerville Intensive Exfoliating Treatment: I initially got my first taste of this product in a FabFitFun box… and fell in love… then looked at the price. Not cheap. It’s amazing though. You can literally see it working. I only use it once a week, since it is intensive… and I think I only have one more use out of my first sampling…. so it’s something I’ll be snagging at the sale. It really helps my face feel radiant.

3. “They’re Real” Mascara: I purchased this mascara in the smaller size initially to see if I’d like it… and yup, it worked! I just recently repurchased it in the larger size. It’s excellent at lengthening the lashes. I use OLAY eye makeup remover to easily take it off (some people complained about how difficult it is to remove).

4. COOLA Sunless Tan Body Oil Mist: I started using this sunless tanner last year and I am obsessed. It mists on, so it’s super easy to apply, and gives you the best tint (not orange at all). I used it right before Hawaii and had a nice soft glow when we got there.

5. Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation: Excellent coverage here. I was using Chanel for years, but then they discontinued my favorite foundation in compact form, and I wasn’t feeling as if the liquid was providing enough coverage. I testes this product out here, and I’ve been such a fan of it that I will be purchasing it again this morning at the sale. It is a heavier coverage than a tinted moisturizer, but doesn’t look cake-y.

6. Kat Von-D Lock-It Concealer: The matching concealer to the foundation. Game changer for me. Again, excellent coverage, especially on my dark circles…. when I first started using it both my sister and mom asked what I was doing differently. Buying at the sale!

7. Bobbi Brown Bronzer: I’ve been using this bronzer for years and have always been incredibly happy with the subtle bronzing it provides.

8. Translucent Loose Setting Powder: Another favorite for the past several years. I initially bought it when I was heading on a Vegas trip with my sister… I was looking for something to help my makeup stay on longer and this was recommended to me. I’ve been using it ever since. Creates the perfect finish in my makeup routine.

9. Under Eye Brightening Corrector: Alright, so this is a product I just purchased. As in, it’s arriving today. I’ve heard it’s amazing for brightening the under eye area, which is exactly what this momma is looking for! I’l report back as to how I like it!

10. Olaplex Hair Perfector: Here is another product that I’m trying for the first time… well, actually, my hairdresser uses it when I come in and my hair always looks so healthy after the treatment.  I figured I’d give it a try at home…. again, I’ll report back about it….

11. T3 Products: I’m a huge fan of the T3 line for my straightener, curling iron, and hair dryer… they’re part of the sale as well…. if you’re in the market to invest in a quality hair product I highly recommend them.

12. Lip Trio: I snagged this nude lip trio at the Nordstrom sale last year, but they’re all available here. Lipstick is beige, Art Stick is perfect nude, Liner is Beige (not part of sale).

Fashion:

1. Basic White Tee:  (featured above) I get asked if this tee is too see through and my response is that it’s the perfect material. Not too heavy, but not too sheer that it doesn’t provide any coverage. Love the v-neckline and the price…. I have it in a couple of colors.

2. Oatmeal Sweatpants: (featured above) These are seriously the softest and so comfortable. I wear them lounging around the house, or running errands. I showed them to my sister + mom and they fell in love as well…. and bought them in two colors. They run large, so size down (I’m wearing an XXS).

3. Faux Wrap: This has quickly become one of my favorite lounge/post workout pieces. It’s super soft and is easy to throw on and go after a workout for breakfast/errands. I love the mint color for spring. Featured it here.

4. High Waisted Bottoms/Ruffle Top Bathing Suit: I purchased this suit for our trip and was initially drawn to the blush + white stripes and ruffled top. It fit like a glove, and the coverage was excellent. It also wasn’t see through in the water, and fully lined (with padding in the top). It’s a great option if you’re looking for a two piece but still want some belly coverage.

5. Little White Dress: Wore this cute little number for Easter and it fits perfectly. The button front detailing is adorable, and I love it paired with kicks and an oversized knit for a super casual day too!

6. Ruffle White Swimsuit/Body Suit: Alright, you know I’m all about versatility in my clothing choices and this suit hits the mark. I dressed it up with the below maxi skirt for an evening out in Hawaii and plan on wearing it with my favorite boyfriend jeans back at home. It’s fully lined and has padding in the chest area so wearing it out and about is very appropriate. Annnnd, you can’t beat the $40 price.

6. Maxi Skirt/Dress: A brighter color than what I typically wear…. so I thought about it for a while. When it arrived, I knew it was perfect. Again, all about versatility…. I can wear it as a skirt, or as a strapless dress. Both ways are super cute. It’s currently on sale too…. a great spring/summer item.

7. Cozy Pullover: Obsessed. Wear it alllll the time. Pairs with jeans for a day out and lounge pants for a comfy evening in (insert glass of wine)…. or, pair it with denim shorts for the warmer days. It’s in the prettiest pink color for spring/summer and a great grab and go option. See it styled here.

8. Polka Dot Body Suit: A few addition to my closet this past month. Everything about it screams “I’m ready for a good time!” The sleeves, print, and overall feeling you get when you slip it on. I wore it with boyfriend jeans, but in the warmer months plan on wearing it with cut-offs.

9. Floral Shorts: Another fun purchase for Hawaii…. I love the feminine print and wider leg (they kind of look like a skirt). You can wear them over the ruffled white suit above with a denim jacket and slides…. or a chunky knit sweater and slides.

10. Ruffle Henley:  Such a great everyday basic top. The henley and ruffle details make it a dressier alternative to a basic white tee…. but the fit is still casual and classic. It’s easy to wear with jeans, shorts, a skirt, or joggers and incredibly versatile. Lots of fun color options too.

11. Bralette: I first bought one of these when I first pregnant and have been obsessed ever since. So, when it came in this cute little blush color I bought another one. It’s great for a day under tees, sweatshirts, or I even do light workouts in it.
