When the alarm goes off at 5:30am it has become increasingly harder to pull myself out of bed… with the sun not rising until about an hour later, it’s pitch black and I think my mind is telling my body it’s not quite time to wake up… needless to say, I can’t wait for daylight savings time so that my mind and the alarm clock can get in sync again….
And speaking about mornings, they seem to have turned cold, quickly… almost overnight. It feels as if just last week, I was comfortable dropping little miss off at school in slides and a shirt, but now temps are in the 50’s (the afternoon is another story…) and my toes are cold and a tee just won’t cut it…
Enter the Free Assembly line at Walmart. I’ve been purchasing items from this line since May, and I appreciate that they’re sustainably made, at an excellent price point (coming in under $50 for all the items I’ve featured), and on top of that, great quality. You could easily make an entire fall capsule wardrobe out of the line as they have jeans, loungewear, outerwear, tops, and basic tees. Everything from date night outfits, lounging outfits, and casual daytime looks… they have you covered. I shared 7 outfits from the line last month, and added this cozy teddy henley sweatshirt a couple of weeks ago (perfect to keep warm during the chilly mornings)… and this camel coat (this teddy coat looks super cute too), while not part of the line, is a classic addition that makes any outfit look chic. I love that I can mix the teddy henley with the white lounge pants, and can also wear the camel coat with the denim. Also, if you love having cozy feet and the shearling trend, these mules are spot on and on trend… perfect for those morning drop offs.
And with that, I’m signing off to read a couple pages from my new book (In A Dark, Dark Wood….) and then head to bed. I hope everyone has a great day ahead!
