For some reason, this has felt like the longest week on record.
As we were making dinner last night (this was Wednesday for us), TJ and I were chatting about how it felt like it needed to be Friday, but it wasn’t even Thursday. I don’t know if it’s all the end of the year activities, parties, and assessments that are going on… or maybe we’re just eager for MDW and the summer plans we have… but this one felt long.
Luckily, we’ve made it to Friday… and have 3 glorious days ahead of us.
MDW always feels like the “unofficial” summer kickoff… and it’s hard to believe that we’re already at this point in the year.
We’re hading out to Palm Springs for a couple of days to celebrate my friend’s 40th, then back home in time for a family BBQ and the pool. But before I sign off for the weekend, I wanted to quickly share a round-up of MDW sale items I own and recommend. As with all my sale posts, if you’re in the market for something and/or have had your eye on something, I hope it’s helpful. If not, feel free to pass this post!

Nordstrom is having their Half Yearly sale and 3 pairs of shoes I love and recommend for the summer season are included!
These gold Cole Haan sandals are very comfortable and such a beautiful color for summer… they can easily be dressed up for down, and are 32% off…
The Hermes inspired sandals, that I styled multiple different ways here, are 30% off…
And lastly the crystal embellished mesh flats are 25% off… these are beautiful for summer with dresses and skirts… and breathable since they’re mesh. I do recommend going up a 1/2 size in these as they run a but small.
MATE THE LABEL
My absolute favorite oversized grey sweatshirt is 30% off… I wear this all year round… with jeans, shorts, joggers, lounging. It’s great!
EVERLANE
Everlane is having 25% off and so many items I love are included.
This basic t-shirt dress that both my mom and I own in multiple colors is under $40…
This midi tank shirt dress is also included and under $50… I own it in black as well…
The barrel jeans (seen above) that are so comfortable (I have them in white in my cart), under $100… I’m wearing the 29″ inseam and I cut the hem….
This ribbed cotton sweater (seen above) that will pair perfectly with shorts as well…

J.CREW
J.Crew is having various percentages off of different items…
This linen blend button down works great as a cover-up or a dress (when fully buttoned)… I have it in black and red and it’s on major sale.

And the linen vest I’ve included in this month’s capsule (and talked about many times) is under $50 (I went up 2 sizes for a looser fit)…
I purchased this red linen dress, which is on sale for under $100… it hasn’t arrived yet, so can’t speak to quality, but I think it’s fun for summer and travels.
MADEWELL
Madewell typically has a more substantial sale, but they are offering 25% off select summer items. The only item I own from the sale are these kitten heel sandals which I can’t recommend more for this summer season. They are very comfortable, chic, and the perfect height for those of us wanting something more than a flat, but don’t want to feel as if we’re going to have sore calves for the next week…
JENNI KAYNE
Jenni Kayne is having 20% off site-wide, with so many beautiful pieces for summer… and some of my go-to investment wardrobe staples…
This linen sweater was a recent addition for the summer season… it’s so beautiful in person and a great lightweight layer for cool summer days or nights…
My go-to cashmere cocoon cardigan is also included… there is a cotton version as well if you’re not a cashmere fan…
These sweatpants and this sweatshirt, which have been in my previous capsules are also on sale… and so comfortable…

Our jute area rug we have in our master bedroom and living room is included as well. We’ve had it for two years and it’s so well made, doesn’t pinch your feet like other jute rugs, and is beautiful…
