I remember when I was in college and tops with old school bands were all the rave. In full confession I think I just threw out my KISS (never listened to them) shirt, as well as my mustard yellow Beatle’s shirt, and I’m sure there was an AC/DC shirt somewhere in there too… or maybe that was one of my roommates old shirts? Either way, I had mixed feelings when I saw this top. I had the following conversation with myself (of course, this was all in my head…), “I really like the saying and how fun would it be for Valentine’s Day?… and it’s so cozy,” while the other side was saying, “Remember all those shirts you just gave away??” Obviously, we know which side won. AND, another true confession… I think I was the queen of tying a sweater around my waist in high school. No, not because I thought I may need it at some point throughout the day (that was what the one I was actually wearing was for… naturally, right?) but because I thought it looked cool. So, I’m not sure if this outfit was an attempt at my younger more carefree days (not that I’m old or bogged down by stress…) or simply an “I want to be comfortable,” day… either way, it felt right :)!
