I’ve shared it here so many times, but I will share it again: I am a chronic “overpacker.” Something about not having options for outfits makes me slightly anxious (okay, very anxious). I am trying to do better. I promise. So, this past weekend I tested myself. I figured a short weekender was the best place to start (less days, less options, naturally, less anxiety). I sat in my closet Thursday evening, staring, and trying to figure out how I was going to accomplish this whole “not-over-packing-thing.” Then I saw this dress and it all came together. Casual enough for the daytime with some sandals and a light sweater, and dressy enough when paired with booties and a more structured jacket (although, the jacket also made the perfect transition between day and night…). Was I completely successful in not overpacking? Probably not to many standards, but compared to mine, I sure was :)!
