Coming in here, better late than never, with part of June, and all of July’s, capsule wardrobe. Since we’ll be gone the majority of July, and I won’t be posting, I thought a combined capsule would work best. And TBH, it’s a more accurate representation of the “summer” for me, since the beginning part of June is typically gloomy for us, and therefore, most of my summer items haven’t moved into regular rotation yet.
Now that the weather is a steady does of sunshine (knock on wood…), I’ve been playing around with my summer essentials, and feel as if this is a really great capsule, and one that could help guide your “summer wardrobe staples.”
And since it’s for the summer, it’s a bit of an overhaul from last month’s capsule. I moved out most of the pants and sweaters, and swapped in shorts and tanks. Where there were multiple sneakers, I replaced them with sandals…. and the bags are more in the “natural” texture category, versus leathers.
Given that it was a pretty significant overhaul, you really don’t need all of these “exact” items… any black and white tank will do… and pair of denim shorts, etc. Similar always works.
And of course, below, you’ll find outfit suggestions. I’m providing 45 this time, to account for the remainder of June and all of July. I’ll have styled posts up the end of this week (or early next…).
