Whenever I do these Capsule posts, I’m reminded how quickly this year is going. Well, quickly and slowly, all at the same time. For us, we haven’t ventured out too far from home… back and forth between my parent’s house/pool and the beach for one evening picnic. Given that, I tried to put together pieces + outfits that would allow for small get togethers, pool/beach days, and days where hanging close to home is all that’s on the agenda….

A few notes about some of the pieces….

I included a few pairs of AGOLDE shorts. Every summer season they are my go-to and I can’t recommend them more. I opted for the higher waisted Reese style + the Parker white shorts. If you’re looking for a pair of shorts with a longer inseam, then Everlane makes a great pair (I own them). Just want to note that they’re more of a mid-rise than high rise.

I included the Reformation linen shorts, which seem to come in and out of stock (in limited sizes) so I found an almost identical pair… I love them in the white color-way too… as well as the matching linen top.

I also added a super cute leopard slip-dress. It’s a cotton material, excellent price point, and such an easy throw on and go option if you’re heading to the pool, a backyard get together, or outdoor dining experience.

As far as accessories go, I always love Gorjana, Shashi, and Misomma for dainty gold pieces (current go-to jewelry favs post here)…. and this Everlane cap is my go-to when I’m not wearing a straw hat.

I have several shoes that I’ve been rotating the past few weeks, but my most versatile pairs include these raffia slides, sneakers, crossover sandals, and raffia mules.
