I’ve yet to wear anything other than loungewear in 2023, but putting together this capsule has me excited to start wearing jeans, sweaters, and cute tops again… and the weather is very winter-y (well, for Southern California) here for the foreseeable future, so the cozy sweaters, jackets, and winter accessories will be out in full force.
This is our first week back in the “real” world, and to say that 5:30am alarm clock sound was a rude awakening would be an understatement… but, as someone who thrives on routine and structure, it sure feels good to return to our regular rhythms and routines.
All of that aside, I put together January’s Capsule Wardrobe post. I swapped out a couple of items and added in a couple of pieces (a striped top, quilted jacket (another option here), and some comfortable black ribbed sweater pants) I received over the holiday season that I’ve already moved into heavy rotation… other than that, they’re all items you’ve seen before… I brought back some pieces from previous months as well….
I know that we’re in the middle of winter, so all of these outfits should work seamlessly with scarves, gloves, beanies, and all those other cute winter accessories you have!
