How I Incorporate Stripes Into My Neutral Wardrobe

Tuesdays are our “hectic” days… I’ve mentioned it before… but yesterday was a reminder of how hectic it can get. But now that it’s behind us, and we’ve hit the mid-way point of the week, it’s downhill from here, right? (that was a rhetorical question….)…

I was asked the other day what “colors” I would incorporate into my capsule collections, and I had to think about it a bit. I used to have a wardrobe filled with brighter colors, and then nothing ever went together (it was fun and bright, I just never felt like I was able to really create any versatility with my wardrobe). My suggestion was that you can incorporate any “fun” colors, but mixing and matching will just be kept to a minimum for that specific piece. But, what I do love mixing into my capsules, that helps to create some variation and “color,” are stripes. I think they’re chic, classic, and incredibly versatile. So for today’s post, I am sharing several different ways I’ve incorporated stripes into my capsule wardrobes… from shorts, to over the shoulder, swim, and base layers… I love how they can pull an outfit together. If you’re looking for ways to add some dimension to your wardrobe, I hope this helps a bit!

Have a wonderful day ahead!
