Holiday Style || Super Casual, Super Comfortable Thanksgiving Outfit

So, the past two Thanksgivings, a variation of this outfit has been my go-to. We’re a pretty mellow group… we love to be together, talk, go for a walk, eat, enjoy good wine (well, I won’t be partaking this year in that aspect…), and end the night cozy up watching “The Griswold Family Christmas….” a tradition that’s been going on for as long as I can remember (I mean, I think we can all quote our favorite lines by memory…). Given that, even if our outfits start out with jeans on the bottom, by dinner time most of us have changed into something that resembles this outfit today.

Even if you want to keep things super casual on a holiday, there are easy ways to look like you didn’t just roll out of bed, or are actually wearing pajamas (not that there is anything wrong with that…). I like to wear “nicer” items, like this sweater (which I also featured here) and pair them with more casual pieces, like these comfy joggers. I do my hair, toss on a little bit of makeup, and always follow the three piece rule to make it feel pulled together. The three piece rule says you have to add an accessory to any casual outfit to make it look complete…. I opted for the cozy oversized scarf + a few gold accessories to complete the outfit….

Whatever your family’s tradition is on Thanksgiving, I hope you’ve been able to find a little bit of casual, dressy, and comfortable inspo over the past three posts!
