Holiday Style || Family Pajamas

After seeing Harper’s reaction towards the decorations + Trick or Treating during the Halloween season, I had a hunch that she’d love the Christmas holiday just as much, if not more. I wasn’t wrong. She’s loved the lights, decorating the tree, the snowman decorations my parents have in the house, and all the little Christmas specials there are on T.V.. To be honest, seeing her face light up makes the holiday season that much more special… and I’m excited to introduce her to the remaining holiday traditions that we have throughout the coming weeks….

One of those traditions is that every Christmas morning, in all our comfies, we have a huge cinnamon roll breakfast while listening to Christmas music. It doesn’t sound like much, but it’s something we’ve been doing in my family since I was a little kiddo, and a tradition TJ + I decided to carry on into our family (I mean, who would be opposed to a cinnamon roll tradition???). A new tradition that we decided to introduce this year, that we’ve seen other families do and it looks like so much fun, is give new pajamas as a Christmas Eve gift… further adding to the anticipation of Christmas Day.

Jockey has so many excellent pajamas for such an occasion (and beyond the holidays as well). For families that love to have coordinating sets, these red + white striped onesies for her, him, and the little one are seriously the best. What I love about the pajama line, is that all the products are so soft… perfect for lounging and a full night’s sleep. I’ve been living in this red + white striped pajama top + pants set… and TJ wears this thermal to bed or with a pair of jeans. I also own this cozy fuzzy robe and it’s perfect for those chilly mornings… or while I’m getting ready for the day. So whether you’re wanting to have family pajamas for Christmas morning, or just to gift them on Christmas Day, be sure to check out the wide selection here, as you’re sure to find a pair to make someone smile (and feel all comfy inside).

Annnnd, I wanted to share with you our super easy, tasty, and indulgent cinnamon rolls recipe that we’ve been making for years….

Simple Christmas Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

Cinnamon Rolls:
1 loaf of dough (You can use store bought dough to make it easier)
1/4-1/2 cup of dairy free butter (or regular if you prefer)
A mixture of cinnamon and sugar to your liking

Frosting:
1/3 cup butter (again, we used vegan)
3 cups confectioner’s sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp milk

Instructions

For Cinnamon Rolls:
Spray a cooking dish (size based on how many cinnamon rolls you will be making)
Flatten out the dough so that it is in a rectangular shape
Spread melted butter over the dough with a basting brush
Generously sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar over the dough
Roll the dough, length wise so that it looks like a long cylinder
Cut with scissors into 6 pieces
Place the pieces into the baking dish, cover with plastic wrap, and place in the refrigerator over night.
In the morning, pre-heat oven to 350. Cook cinnamon rolls, covered with tin foil, for 30 minutes, or until slightly golden brown on to

For Frosting:
Combine all ingredients in a mixer and mix together.
To complete cinnamon rolls:
Once the cinnamon rolls have cooked, immediately frost them. Enjoy warm!
