It’s hard to believe that all the prep and anticipation for the 2023 holiday season has officially ended, and we’re a week into the 2024 year. To say this holiday season was infinitely different than last year would be an understatement. As I’ve mentioned before, last Christmas Eve all our holiday plans, trips, and celebrations quickly came to a halt when Harper got sick… then the dominos fell each of us coming down with it slowly, but surely…

All of that to say, I went into the holidays cautiously optimistic this year and it far exceeded my expectations. We gathered with family for the Christmas Holiday, rang in my 40th birthday surrounded by family and friends, headed off to Santa Barbara with family to continue said celebrations, and ended a wonderful season with sweet Harper’s 8th birthday.

I am so grateful for the fun times we had… but very ready to get back onto a schedule. It felt so nice to wake up at our normal time this morning, and squeeze in a run before getting the girls ready and off to school (it was also time for them to head back… haha). And while I know I’m a bit delayed, I do hope everyone has been having a good start to 2024 and I look forward to continuing to share content with you this year!
