I am absolutely loving green for this summer! I feel as if the color is fresh, bright, and can add pizzazz to just about any outfit! During one of my MANY on-line shopping adventures, I found this beautiful silk dress and jacket (which were splurges for me!… but I knew I’d wear them enough to justify the splurge!) and fell in love. Up until last weekend I had worn both, separately, but never together. I think I had this irrational fear that I would look like the Jolly Green Giant! Remember him??? Well, this past weekend I had a co-ed baby shower to go to (in the evening) and decided to be bold and try it out! I loved the contrast of the emerald and mint together and the dress was light and airy… perfect for a late Spring evening! I tossed on a few gold accessories (again wearing a Kendra Scott ring… I just LOVE it!) and some shockingly pink nail polish and I was ready to go! A look that I felt struck a balance between classic meets feminine (just how I like it)!
