It’s cold these days! Obviously “cold” is relative…but in California, it’s in the 40’s and 50’s and it’s cold! I’ve naturally been gravitating [obsessing] with sweaters and jackets, and my favorite trend this season is the furry/fuzzy sweater. It’s so funky and fun, but also SO warm and cozy! I saw this sweater at Nordstrom, put my hand on it to feel its texture, and knew I had to have it. Ask Shannon (and really anyone else who knows me), I LOVE soft things. So this sweater was a no brainer!

I adore the idea of pairing the sweater with leggings. When I first saw the sweater, I figured it looked super casual, but when I looked at it hanging in my closet as I was searching for something to wear for a night on the town, I just wanted to wear it so badly, and I immediately thought of these leather leggings to dress it up!

And honestly, can you beat a bright red purse? This true red Kate Spade bag is one of my latest obsessions. I cannot think of anything more perfect for this time of year as a classy, chic red bag! Plus, the outfit needed some color and, when done right, I just love red and black.

The sweater definitely speaks for itself, so no need to go overboard with the jewelry. These Lisi Lerch earrings are the perfect size and color to go with any outfit, and the black just fits with the color scheme of this outfit. The beautifully complete the look!
