One of the best things about having a sister: having a built in, permanent best friend. Growing up almost six years apart, we had natural differences, but now that we’re older, we share a lot of the same interests and passions. One of those interests is trying new places and indulging in an “almost-weekend-beverage.” And one of those passions is fashion. This is what happens when we combine the two.

We decided to venture to Downtown Fullerton’s weekly farmers’ market, which includes fresh, local produce, live music, local food vendors, and a beer garden. After exploring a bit, we realized we had forgotten cash, rendering ourselves pretty useless since about 98% of the farmers market was cash only.

I had just gotten off work, so I needed to wear something that I could move in, but that was also fresh and bright to match the vibe at the farmers market. I love these coral pants-they are perfect for spring and summer, and this chambray shirt is loose, movable, and offers a great balance of androgyny. I have the hardest time finding bracelets, but found this miracle that actually fit my wrists at Forever 21, and it added the perfect spritz of femininity.

 Shannon went with a simple black maxi dress with an oversized, light cardigan perfect for the casual, natural, and uncomplicated nature of a farmers market. She added a touch of spice with her leopard clutch and delicate rings to complete the outfit.

Since we had to hunt for an ATM to get some cash, we stumbled upon a bar/tavern called Hopscotch Tavern. We decided to park ourselves here and enjoy a craft cocktail: the London Lemonade. It was amazing!

There is literally nothing like spending quality time with your best friend AND finding new places to wine, dine, and indulge…all while combining passions of fashion and exploration!
