Our New Year’s festivities typically involve comfortable clothes, a small gathering of close friends, games, and a delicious homemade meal…. in fact, we’ve been celebrating NYE the same way the past four years… and I wouldn’t change a thing. Yet, just in case you have something a little fancier… slightly more festive… on your calendar, I’m sharing some NYE outfit ideas below….

If we were to be dressing up this year, this might be my go-to. There is something so simple + chic about all black + mixing various textures. Plus, you’re sure to stay warm in all the cool temps. I also think this faux fur coat is another beautiful option…. and this vest is a more budget friendly option.

Another classic + simple option is the LBD… dressed up with layered gold pieces + a faux fur stole.

Metallics are another favorite of mine… such a beautiful way to add glamour to any night out…. this dress is my favorite of the season (this is a great similar option)… but I also like this blazer dress which can be layered over the faux leather leggings above as well.
Similar to the outfit with the faux fur jacket… tossing on a velvet blazer over an all black look is another easy way to look festive, yet chic. This is another great velvet option… might be slightly more fitted than the one I am wearing.
