Over the years, I’ve always added small feminine details to my outfits…. even if that meant an all pink ensemble adorned with a matching bow that took up my entire face. Now, I like to think I have a slightly more refined sense of what feminine touches I might not cringe about years from now…. and, as of late, I’ve found myself reaching for simple gold accessories, and a touch of lace, to create a feminine feel to my daily outfits.

My jewelry tray is filled with pieces from so many different parts of my life, yet the items that have currently been on heavy rotation include this initial pendant necklace TJ got me for my birthday a few years ago, this simple crescent necklace (which I pretty much wear all the time), and this rose gold bar necklace. I’ve been on the fence about the choker trend (even told my girlfriend I was very lukewarm about it when she asked my opinion), but I recently purchased (as in, they’re en route via UPS) a few to try and see how I feel about the trend…. for me, they have to be dainty + gold. That being said, I’m trying out this hammered bar choker, double strand version, and this circle option. I’m thinking they would look great with some of my longer necklaces, and would add just the perfect touch to a chunky knit sweater…..

Or perfectly paired with a lace cami. I saw this one a few months ago, and knew it would pair nicely with so many items I already owned in my closet. I love the simple touch it adds to any outfit… especially when paired with distressed jeans (which aren’t always so feminine….) + a chunky cardigan. I’ve also paired it under a leather jacket for an early happy hour.  A few other lace favorites include this option which has the details at the bottom hem (would be perfect paired under a cropped sweater), and this one (which is identical to the one I am wearing) is an excellent price, and comes in a few color options.
