Hope you’re all having a great week so far… thankful it’s almost the weekend over here! Sharing a few of my favorite products from March for today’s post. As always, these are items I utilize in my life regularly… whether it be an article of clothing, a beauty product, or everyday items around the house. You’ll find a vanishing panty (really don’t like that word) lines pair of underwear, my go-to sports bra, a clean + non-toxic tanning lotion, and our new favorite sparkling water machine (helping us majorly cut down on waste)…..
Have a great day everyone!
FASHION
1. AERIE Half-Zip: I bought this at the end of February for several reasons. One, finding cute loungewear in the ivory/white shades is always hard (not many items out there…) and because it just looked so comfortable. It’s one of the softest items in my closet. I wore it traveling to NY at the beginning of March (which seems like forever ago… and makes me so grateful for my health) and have worn it with so many different items in my closet. It was also included in April’s capsule wardrobe.
2. SOMA 360 Vanishing Underwear: These are pretty amazing. You literally can’t see any lines. I wear them with all my workout leggings and nude colored clothing items and I’ve been incredibly happy with them. They also don’t roll down and stay put throughout the day.
3. Cozy V-Neck Top: Obviously I was on the hunt for white loungewear items in February… and this one is super cozy as well. I love that it can easily be worn with jeans, leggings, biker shorts, and cut-offs for a super casual spring look as well. I went up a size for this fit, but they didn’t have my regular size. It does run large, so your normal size, or even sizing down, would be recommended.
4. Slouchy Boyfriend Jeans: I obviously love distressed jeans. No secret there. These are by far my most distressed, but I love the edge they add to any outfit. They’re high waisted, loose fitting in the legs, but don’t look like you’re swimming in them (they fit much better than how they’re featured). I did have to cut them at the hem significantly, but if you’re taller, rolling them up would be a great look as well. I seriously can’t wait to wear them with slides and a fitted bodysuit when we are able to go out and about again. I find them to fit tts if you want them to be fitted around the waist (not uncomfortable, but no gap in the back).
5. Align Biker Shorts: These were a purchase I made at the beginning of March and fell in love with how buttery soft they are. The color is not something I typically go for, but I was wanting something “spring” and this color seemed perfect. I’m a fan of the high waist, longer inseam, hidden key pocket, and the fact that you don’t have to constantly pull them down when you’re working out. They’re great for lounging, runs, or any other workout really. I found them to run tts.
6. Energy Sports Bra: I hadn’t purchased a new sports bra since I was pregnant and figured it was time. This one is excellent. I love the high neck and it looks super cute solo with leggings. It has pads in the chest area (that are removable) and has worked really well for me in all my workouts (long distance runs included).
7. Double Take Pullover: This is one of those items where the moment I took them out of the box I wore them over and over again. Super soft and the loose crop fit gives it a little edge. Love wearing it with high waisted leggings and joggers.
BEAUTY
1. Playa Every Day Shampoo: I bought this in the middle of February and after going through an entire bottle have been super happy with it. It suds up nicely and is cleaner than some of the previous shampoos I was using. I’m currently testing out their conditioner, so I’ll report back if that’s something I’d recommend.
2. Beauty by Earth Self Tanner: I purchased this self tanner about a week before our scheduled trip to Hawaii, in hopes of getting a subtle glow before putting on a bathing suit. Obviously we canceled that trip, but a couple of weeks ago I decided that giving myself a little glow might life my spirits. Huge fan of the product. It’s considered non-toxic + organic, and gave me a good glow (not a “I just spent a week in Hawaii” tan, but I wasn’t going for that). I’ve been applying 1-2xs a week for the past 3 weeks and even TJ noticed the slight difference. Sold.
HOME PRODUCTS
1. Seagrass Glasses: I bought these at the beginning of our stay at home orders + they were 40% off. They’re super cute, and the actual cup is removable from the seagrass holder, which makes them really easy to clean. They make sipping water feel fancy and make cocktails more fun. These will for sure be our go-to glasses this spring + summer.
2. Soda Stream: I have been a sparkling water addict for a long time but really felt as if I needed to cut down on the amount of waste I was producing by consuming it in cans. I finally decided to purchase the soda stream. We have the model that allows you to select between 3 different carbonation levels, and it’s very comparable to store bought sparkling water. We haven’t tried any of the flavors yet, but do have the lemon one and will need to try it soon.
3. Evil Eye Doormat: In our backyard, we still had the original doormat from when we bought the house. It wasn’t really a mat, more like a few planks of wood nailed together. When Anthro was having a sale, I snagged this door mat and love it! Pretty + effective.
4. Chaise Lounge Chairs: I shared these in my backyard oasis post but we’ve been incredibly happy with these lounge chairs ever since we received them. They sort of remind me of the Almafi Coast (I haven’t been, just from photos) and they have a retractable tray that comes out from the side. They also have wheels, so they’re easy to move around the yard. They’ve been a hit with everyone in the house!
