Favorite Products February || Eats, Beauty, Fashion

Oh hey Friday! We finally made it! Looking forward to this weekend ahead… we have a storm rolling in today, so it’ll be nice to enjoy some wine on the couch, cozied up while it rains outside. Then, the storm clears just in time for the half marathon on Sunday. We’re heading down to San Diego Saturday afternoon, and I’m so excited. I hope you all have something special planned for your weekend ahead… even if that means binge watching your favorite television series… it’s the little things in life friends!

Sharing my favorite products from February with you today, and I’m super excited about all of them! I eat, apply, and wear them all on a regular basis, and am confident you’ll like them to if you give them a try…..

Have a wonderful weekend, and I’ll see you Monday…. xx

“Just be yourself, let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful, and magical person that you are….”
______

FOOD:

1. Rhythm Beet Chips: These are my new obsession. They’re packed with fiber and have made their way into my afternoon snack rotation. I love dipping them in hummus…. healthy version of chips and dip.

2. Purely Elizabeth Granola Bars:You all know how much I love her granola…. and she just made them into superfood bar form. They’re a hit with everyone in the family… Harper is just as obsessed with them as I am. They aren’t currently available in store though, only on-line.

3. Wild Friends Oatmeal:This is a great grab and go oatmeal…. which can also be made into a muffin by simply adding a mashed banana, baking soda, some almond milk, and peanut butter. It’s one of Harper’s favorite breakfasts.

4. Sonoma Gourmet Pasta Sauce: I stumbled across this sauce while I was at Sprouts’ and it said “no added sugar” so I decided to give it a try. It’s delicious. We’ve been using it with our “zoodle + meatball” dishes…. our favorite flavor is the roasted garlic.

BEAUTY:

1. Benefit “They’re Real” Mascara: I was on the hunt for a new mascara about a month ago, and so many people recommended this one. I know why. It seriously lengthens my lashes to the point that I wonder if “they’re real.” A few people warned me that the mascara was hard to remove, but I haven’t had that problem. I use this make-up remover and it comes off easily.

2. NYX Eyebrow Push-Up: I was needing to refill my eyebrow pencil, but wasn’t able to get to the mall. So when I was at Target, I snagged this eyebrow pencil + highlighter. It’s a great, wallet friendly, option for filling in brows and creating the highlighter effect.

3. True Match Liquid Glow Illiminator: I love adding an illuminator to my regular make-up routine for that “glowing” effect and this one is an excellent, wallet friendly, option. I apply it around my eyes, cheekbones, and down the bridge of my nose.

4. Kiehl’s Line Reducing Concentrate: So, I was gifted this product and decided to give it a try. The claim was that it would brighten skin and reduce lines. I think sometimes it’s hard to tell a difference in your own skin when you look at it all day…. yet, after about two weeks I had a few people ask me if I had been doing something differently, because my skin looked brighter…. I was going to give it a month before I shared my experience, but figured that since it’s obviously working, I’d share now!

5. TULA Kefir Mask: I’ve always felt that when my skin is highly nourished it glows, looks more supple, and I see lines less…. so, this new Kefir mask from TULA does just that. It’s an indulgent mask that I put on after Harper goes to bed, to unwind in the evening (1-2 times a week). I apply a thick layer, leave it on for 10-15 minutes, and then I simply massage the excess amount into my skin. No rinsing required. If you want to try, use code SHANNON20, for 20% off + free shipping.

FASHION:

1. Stripe Henley: This was a top that when I saw it, I immediately knew it would get a lot of wear. I love lounging around the house in it, or tossing it on with my favorite pair of jeans for a super casual day. It’s a great layering option and will easily transition you from winter to spring to summer.

2. Waffle Knit Sweater: A beautiful blush pullover that’s cozy enough for any cool winter day, or the perfect lightweight layer for a mild spring afternoon. I love the texture the waffle knit provides, makes it a little different than your everyday knit.

3. Matching Jogger + Pullover Set:  I’m obsessed with this cute little lounge set. It’s comfortable enough to wear during a lazy weekend at home…. but the material is “thick” enough to easily transition to errands or a breakfast date. Simply toss on a denim jacket and comfy kicks and you’re stylin’.

4. Wrap Sweater: (pictured above) To say I’m obsessed with this sweater would be an understatement. It’s seriously so soft, and the faux wrap detailing is gorgeous. I originally purchased it in both colors and before I fell in love with it took back the rose color. Yet, I’m kinda regretting that because it’s such a great one. I’ve worn it with jeans, and then dressed it down with stretchy leggings, and v-neck tee, and kicks for a day with Harper. Also styled here.

5. Slip On Kicks c/o: These are more than I typically spend for slip-ons, but they’re super comfortable, and I just love the rose color (although, they come in a ton of color options). They’s super easy to toss on with jeans, leggings, or shorts and a dress in the spring months…. you can get $50 off with SHANNON50.

6. Rose Maxi Dress: I bought this dress for our weekend in Palm Springs and am obsessed with the shape and fit. It’s oversized, with pockets, so it’s super easy to toss on over a suit, and then wear out in the evening (you’ll need to wear this slip). The material is super soft, and I’m obsessed with the soft rose color. I styled it here.

7. Crochet Sweater: Beautiful for spring… and easy to dress up or down. I wore it in Palm Springs with my favorite cut-offs… but have also tossed it on with leggings, joggers, and jeans. It’s also an easy sweater to take on a trip to wear in the evenings, or over a suit.

8. Blush Cardigan: So. Soft. Those are the best words to describe this one… and the rose color is absolutely gorgeous. It’s one you’ll reach for over and over again… at least I do… whether it’s lounging at home, or heading out and about, it’s a staple for sure.

9. Lightweight Sweatshirt: I toss this one on with anything… post workouts, to sleep in, and with jeans and a cap for a super laid back look. It’s lightweight so you can easily layer it underneath a jacket in the cooler months, or wear it solo in warmer temps. It also pairs with these shorts or pants.
