Fall Style || My Go To Pants For Fall

We had a fairly busy Monday and I can never tell how I feel about busy Mondays. On the one hand, they go by exceptionally fast (always a good thing for a Monday…)… but on the other hand, I want to fall asleep on the couch at 6:30pm, right after dinner (and the bedtime duties are still left…). Either way, Monday is over and we’re one day closer to the weekend (not that I’m counting down or anything…).

I rounded up my favorite pants for the fall season for today’s post (not that it’s remotely cool enough to even consider wearing a pair at the moment…). They’re all versatile, slightly elevate everyday life, and can be dressed up or down (with the exception of the sweatpants at the end of the post… those not so much). There are a couple of jumpsuits as well, because those are always fun alternatives to a basic pants and top combo. I included a brief blurb about each pair under the photo… some sizing info as well.

And now off to tackle Tuesday… hope everyone has a great day!

FLUTTER LEGGINGS

I have a more comprehensive post coming up on these split hem leggings, but they were a purchase from last year and I love how they elevate an otherwise basic legging’s outfit. They’re super versatile, comfortable, and they work for petites as well (just order the 7/8ths length).

WIDE LEGGED JEANS

These wide legged jeans were another Springtime purchase last year and they’re so comfortable! Great stretch to them, and the denim is so soft. They pair with so many different shoes, depending on they type of look you’re going for… sneakers, booties, heels, and sandals. I went down one size.

MADEWELL STRAIGHT LEG JEANS

I purchased these jeans about a year and a half ago and love the straight leg fit… they aren’t baggy or oversized, so if you aren’t feeling the 90’s fit of jeans, these are a great alternative. They have a nice bit of stretch to them as well. I cut the hem (even though I did order in the petite size) and went down one size.

DENIM JUMPSUIT

This denim jumpsuit was a spring purchase, but it’s great for fall temps as well with sneakers and a coat/cardigan. It’s a soft denim material, so not stiff, and love the pockets!

MASON TROUSER

I can’t wear to wear this pair of trouser pants more this season (it’s still too hot right now). I think that they are such a great alternative to denim, but not joggers/leggings, so they really help to elevate an outfit. You can dress them down with a basic tee or up with a blouse for the workplace. They come in petite sizing as well so you don’t have to hem them… and lots of great colors too.

BRUSHED JUMPSUIT

I bought this jumpsuit last winter and it’s so so cozy and comfortable. It hits at the bottom of my ankle (so I didn’t have to hem) and there are so many different options for styling it. It’s not available in this exact color anymore, but it was recently restocked in 4 other colors options, all great for the fall/winter months ahead. I went down one size as well.

AGOLDE 90’S JEANS

AGOLDE is one of my favorite denim brands… the fit and styling works well for me… and these are the 4 pairs I pull for the most. I typically size down and cut them hem on each pair. I have this 90’s loose fit style, and then the pinch waist fit in this denim wash, this ivory wash, and the black wash.

TRACK JOGGERS

These track joggers are the best. They’re more sweatpants, and I got my first pair in 2021, but they’re so comfortable, not oversized and sloppy, and they work for at home or off duty style as well. I do recommend going down one size if you want them less loose… but if you want them to have a slouchy fit your regular size will work. The faded blue color-way is currently in my cart.

FREE ASSEMBLY JOGGERS

I discovered these Free Assembly Joggers last fall and they’re so comfortable and look almost identical to the The Great joggers. They come in a lot of great colors, and you can’t beat the under $25 price point.

THE GREAT JOGGERS

I first discovered The Great sweatpants in 2020, right before the pandemic, when I was traveling to New York. I was skeptical at first, but quickly fell in love with them. They fit my short legs (which is so rare when it comes to joggers) and are very comfortable (not in a plush way, they’re more sweatshirt material).
