Fall Style || 7 Ways To Wear Leopard Flats

I was doing a Peloton barre workout yesterday morning and part of the class had us pulsing with our heels up… Ally Love (the instructor) used a reference to heel height to instruct how high our heels needed to be off the ground, and that got me thinking. When was the last time that I actually wore a pair of heels?? I started thinking back over the last 9 months of the year and I realized that TJ + I had a date night, back in January (right after Harper’s b-day) when I wore a pair of black suede heels. I think my feet were dying by the end of the night….

I think it’s safe to say that over the past 6 years, my heels have grown a few cobwebs. My feet aren’t complaining though. It’s funny how I used to be so comfortable in heels, but now it’s the opposite… team #flats over here.

So when I came to thinking about footwear for fall, I had to pull out these Birdie’s leopard flats from last season. Incredibly padded, comfortable, and versatile… they’re easy to toss on whenever I want to make my otherwise neutral wardrobe pop a little. They run tts, but if you’re between sizes I do recommend going up as if they’re too tight they will pinch at the heel.

I love them so much, and think they’re such a great fall shoe, that I styled them here 7 different ways… one for each day of the week. And if your 9-5 calls for a little more formal attire they work with black slacks + a dress as well.
