When we planned our last trip up north, I knew that I wanted to wear a dress, and so the search began. I ended up purchasing this one, as well as this option. Yet, when I looked at the weather forecast and saw that we were heading into a heat wave for the weekend, this one had to stay home (sadly). You see, it is really the perfect fall dress (which is exactly why it wasn’t going to stand a chance in the summer weather we were having) with its darker hues and long sleeves. Yet, it’s airy enough for when those fall days feel a little warmer (just not in the 90’s please….).
I ended up wearing it the other day for a casual dinner. With the florals being on the feminine side, I opted to pair it with my favorite utility jacket to give it a little structure. Had the temps been cool enough, I would have paired it with my favorite new boots for fall, but instead opted for my favorite transitional sandals.
I find that every fall, I am always on the search for a gorgeous floral dress, and was ecstatic when I found this nursing friendly option at a good price. A few other dresses I considered include this gorgeous lace paneled maxi, this floral print wrap dress, this beautiful floral and lace slip dress, and this red floral maxi (one of my favs!). I purchased this beautiful dress for my sister’s engagement party in a few weeks, but I also think this cap sleeve dress would be adorable with over the knee boots and a chunky cardigan.
