I’ve found that there are two camps of people when it comes to the biker short trend… you’re either for it or vehemently against it. Here’s my take (if you can’t tell, I’m clearly for it…): they’re just shorter leggings and since it’s summer, and I don’t care to be hotter than I need to be, biker shorts make perfect sense. So if you look good in leggings, you’ll look good in biker shorts too (and btw, everyone looks good in leggings….). I wear them for travel, errands, working out, and everything in between. When you find the right pair, they hug in all the right places, and hold everything you want held in perfectly…..
A few tips for making the trend work.
Opt for material that isn’t super thick… it adds bulk that isn’t necessary….
High waisted all the way….
The longer the better… I prefer shorts that have an inseam of 7″ or longer….

This style is incredibly soft, has a great high waistline, and works for any occasion. I love this look for an afternoon of errands or a day with the girls…. having my hands free with my favorite belt bag + my feet comfortable with these trainer shoes (super comfortable!) makes it the perfect all day option!
ONZIE LEOPARD PRINT BIKER SHORTS

These were the first pair of biker shorts that I bought… and when I put them on, I fell in love. Soft as butter, with a longer inseam, and great high waistline I knew they’d be perfect for working out, lounging, and everyday living. I recently had a pregnant momma tell me she purchased them and that they were her most comfortable pair of shorts that she owns! LNA GINGHAM SHORT

Obsessed with this gingham print… this pair is great for a full day of travel. I wore them on our last trip to, and from, the desert and they were super comfortable. I don’t recommend these for a workout, but for other purposes they’re great….
ALO BIKER SHORT
White can be hit or miss, but I’m obsessed with this pair and wear them all the time. I love pairing it with my favorite distressed tank…. and while this looks like a workout outfit, if you toss on a utility jacket, or denim jacket, and some slides it transforms into a great off duty look.
FREE PEOPLE DIANA SHORT
I was on the hunt for a pair this color and when I found these I knew they’d be perfect. They’re a longer inseam, which is really flattering and the color goes with everything. Wear them with my favorite tank above and the trainer shoes, or a white slide, and you have a great everyday look.
