Everyday Style || Shades Of Blush….

The other day I sat in front of my closet and tried on piece after piece, wanting to wear something other than a basic tee + a sweater. The bump has been growing… and as I tried to toss on my all time favorite silk camisole, I was left with a cropped mess + tons of side boob (is a pretty little visual coming to mind at this point??). Not sure what made me think it would work (is there such thing as pregnancy delusions??), but needless to say I was quickly disappointed….  Yet, I just couldn’t release on my desire to wear the cami, so I decided I’d try to go up a few sizes to fit with the bump. Success….

This cami is such a great closet staple for so many different reasons (I’ve styled it in the white and navy several times before). It’s perfect for all seasons… easily wear it solo in the summer with cut-offs (seen here), under a cozy cardigan in the spring (as seen today), layered under a v-neck sweater in the fall/winter months (seen here), and anything in between really. You can layer it under blazers for work… and a leather/suede jacket for going out. It’s one of those timeless pieces you’ll reach for again and again. Trust me, that’s how I ended up with this color and a size to reach my bump (here’s to hoping it gets me through the next 10 weeks….).
