In full disclosure I’ve never considered myself a “dress person.” I’m more of a casual shorts and top, or jeans and a tee kind of gal. But, after over a year of wearing nothing but very casual clothing, I am ready to wear dresses… somewhere, anywhere….
I should probably take a page from Camille + Harper, who happily wear a dress no matter the occasion. Playing with dirt in the backyard. Totally dress appropriate. Lounging around the house? A house dress is fully acceptable. Dresses are their jam….
Luckily, we have several things coming up over the next few months that will easily give me the opportunity to toss on a cute and casual dress… TJ + I are going to Napa for an adults only trip…. then a coastal road-trip with the girls… a lunch with girlfriends I haven’t seen in over two years… date nights… birthdays… the couple of days a week that I have a babysitter for the girls… there are more than enough occasions that will call for dresses this summer season.
So today I’ve rounded up some cute options. Some I’ve had for several months, some are newer, and then at the end I rounded up a bunch of options I’ve seen and thought were super cute (almost all of them are sustainably made with the exception of a few).
I hope you all have a great day and good weekend ahead!
