Everyday Style || Casual Chambray Dress

We headed to the doctor on Tuesday of this week and were informed that I was already dilated 2cm…. and told that it could be “any day now…” since she’s “so low.”  Having an initial due date of April 19th, that spiked the anxiety… and then I reminded myself that I was in this exact same situation with Harper… weeks before my actual due date, dilated + effaced, told “any day” now every week…. and then we were a week late. All that to say, it did give me enough anxiety to pack my hospital bag and get a few posts finished…. but I also realize I have little control in this situation, so what will be will be….

In the interim period, I’ll continue to find pieces that can easily get me through the spring weather + transition into postpartum life. Enter his incredibly soft, and comfortable, chambray dress. I picked it up from Walmart…. their new spring arrivals are super cute + full of all the spring trends…. including this circle tote bag + these comfortable studded slides (which I think I’ve worn 3-4 times since getting them last week). With Walmart’s “We Dress America” campaign going on, they have something for everyone. Literally…. toddler girls (how cute are these chambray shorts??), boys (such a cute button down top), and the men in your life (even something chambray for them too….) are all covered. A one stop shop for everyone makes life much easier… and I’m all about that these days… considering we’re playing the “waiting game” over here!

Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post. As always, I select my own items + all opinions are my own.
