Towards the end of last winter, I thought about investing in a camel coat that I could wear year after year, and would seamlessly fit into my wardrobe. But after thinking about it, I decided to hold off, since spring was around the corner and it didn’t seem like a wise investment at the time. Fast forward to this November, when the temps started to take a fairly consistent dip, and I decided that the camel coat I had been eyeing last season, would now be a smart investment (plus, it was 25% off at the time). When this camel coat arrived, I immediately started creating outfits with it, and wore it the very next day… typically a sign that it was a good purchase. And since next week is the official start of winter, I figured I’d round up seven different ways to wear one of my (new) go-to winter essentials. Of course, having this exact camel coat isn’t necessary, so if you have something similar, I hope this post is helpful as well (and this coat, and this coat are other alternatives).
With that, this is my last post of 2022. We’ll be spending the next couple of weeks relaxing, trying to stay healthy (which seems to be a job all on it’s own, haha), enjoying time with the family, squeezing in a last minute getaway, celebrating my birthday (hello last year in my 30’s), and ringing in 2023. And while 2022 might have brought a bit of relief to many, I know that this year was also filled with ups and downs (some experiencing more downs than ups) for others, and no matter where you are, or how you’re feeling heading into the last couple weeks of the year, I truly hope that the spirit of the holiday season brings feelings of peace and joy to you and your loved ones. Thank you for being here, for supporting me, and allowing me to show up in your inbox almost daily. See you in 2023!
