Every year I cross my fingers for a cold Thanksgiving, and most of the time it doesn’t happen. Yet this year, as I watched the weather forecast, I became giddy inside with the anticipation that this Thanksgiving would be nice and chilly. To my happiness, the weather continued into the weekend. So when we decided that it was time to pick up our tree, I was able to dress in cozy and warm layers… for the 65 degree day (I know, I know… that’s warm for most parts of the country). Dressing in layers with the bump can be tricky… too many loose layers and it looks a little frumpy. The best option, I’ve found, is to start with a more fitted bottom layer, like this stripe top (which comes in four different colors), and then work your way out, but always making sure that each layer is only slightly looser. Of course, this isn’t the equation I always follow…so I guess it ultimately comes down to dressing however you feel best… because confidence is always the best look in my opinion!
Happy weekend everyone! TJ and I are headed up to Santa Barbara for one last baby-moon weekend before Harper arrives. You can follow along on Instagram or Snapchat (shanpulsiferibi). Hope you have a great one!
