The Lord truly blessed me with a wonderful family who whole-heartedly accepted my husband as one of their own! One of the many blessings that has come from that has been the expansion of our family trips! We have been able to enjoy so many family vacations together with the most recent being to Chicago (one of my all time favorite cities!). This past Labor Day weekend, we flew out for our cousin’s wedding and spent several days in the city. The boys went to a Cubs game, while the ladies sipped mimosas and shopped along Michigan Avenue (a total of 5 hours… needless to say our feet were a tad sore!). We celebrated dad’s 60th birthday, enjoyed delicious dinners + cocktails, and spent quality time with each other.
