I remember when it used to be really cool to wear boxer shorts to bed. I had an old pair with the Looney Tunes print and I wore them until my mom literally told me I had to throw them out. It’s like that with a lot of things, right? Those old sorority shirts and college sweaters you just can’t bring yourself to throw away. It’s that “lived in” feeling you get when you put them on (because, you know that’s all you wore on Thursday mornings after a night of two-dollar-you-call-its at Guava Beach). Yet, my thirty year old self just can’t bring myself to leave the house with either of the aforementioned items on my body (well maybe to walk the dog…). So, my simple solution has been to find classier pieces that give me the same casual, laid back feeling. Hence, these chambray shorts. They may just be one of the comfiest pair of shorts I own. AND perfectly acceptable to wear out in public. Such a deal.
