Fall can arrive any day now and I would be alright with that. Seriously though. I’ve been holding onto this dress for several weeks now, just waiting for the weather to cooperate so that I could wear it without meting. Well, several weeks passed and it took a trip up the central coast to Santa Barbara to be slightly more comfortable with the long sleeves and maxi fit. Some reasons why I can’t wait for fall?? For starters, I am really tired of worrying about how my toes look. I am kind of over having to paint them and do bi-weekly callous treatments (thanks to my running addiction). It’s not that I don’t care about them, I’m just ready to neglect them a little. And since fall means closed toed shoes, I can do that with ease. Second? I hesitate to write it for fear of judgement, but sometimes, when I’m in a hurry, I don’t want to shave my legs (I feel a disclaimer is necessary here. I never let it get out of hand.). Maxi dresses (not necessarily ones with slits) and pants makes this lazy grooming possible. Looking for less disturbing reasons why I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of fall weather? Boots, sweaters, and pants 24/7.
