I’d been wanting a black romper for a while, but just wasn’t sure if my shortness (you see, I’m only 5’1 1/2… and don’t discount that 1/2 inch) could pull one off. I feared I would look stumpy, or as if I was wearing an 80’s work out outfit. Then, I decided to take the leap, step out of my comfort zone so to speak. And so the search began to find the perfect black romper. I found this one when it was on sale for 20% off and loved the silk jacquard print… it had an elegant pajama feel to it… comfortable, while at the same time feminine and elegant. While the legs had to be hemmed about 4 inches (this is always a given in short people world) I fell in love with it instantaneously. I’ve worn it twice in Vegas, to a recent family Christmas celebration, and then the very next day to a family brunch. I think it’s safe to say that I’m in love. I’m also thinking it’s a fabulously perfect New Years’ Eve piece paired with statement accessories.
