Easter is a time I traditionally associate with soft pastels and whites. Yet after putting on an outfit that was full of pastels and whites for church, I decided to change into something slightly more casual for the day’s festivities. Obviously I chose a color scheme that was in direct contrast to my idyllic color palate, but I couldn’t have felt more feminine and light throughout the day. I’ve been loving midi skirts for all occasions lately, and a day filled with nephews, puppies, and backyard BBQs seemed like another perfect opportunity to slip one on. I added the belt and sandals because I guess I simply just couldn’t bring myself to go completely black on such a glorious day!
