I’ve always been a sucker for a black and white combo. It’s classic, effortless, and understated. Yet, when it comes to black and white stripes, I’ve always been a bit on the wary side. My irrational fear? That I will look like I am donning prison guard. When I saw this dress, I figured now was as good as any other time to challenge that fear. I can confidently say, fear abandoned, and that black and white stripes will become a more frequent wardrobe staple moving into this coming fall season… as will body con dresses… layered with sweaters, booties, and hats! Anyone else ready for those cooler temps (not freezing yet… just a tad cooler please…)

And… as we move into this 3 (Yes, 3 whole days off!!) day weekend I hope you all have fun plans with those you love! I know I don’t plan on wearing a watch once for those 3 blissful days!
