I think everyone has something special, in their closet, that they own, that makes them feel beautiful! I can reflect back through the years and there has always been a dress, shirt, or pair of shoes that I can remember feeling confident in the minute the I put it on. In high school, it was this pale pink eyelet dress that I bought on a shopping trip with my mom to Laguna Beach… it was definitely an indulgence at that age. In college I can remember two items very distinctly… often worn together. The first was a pair of beautifully colored gold pumps. I ADORED them and literally wore them out…and cried the day I realized they couldn’t be worn anymore. The second piece was a LBD which I wore to a sorority formal, several Vegas trips with the girls, and my sister’s 16th birthday. Then there was my wedding dress. I don’t think that piece needs any further explanation. The point is, I think everyone should have something in their closet that makes them feel beautiful. It’s not that the clothes make the woman beautiful… it’s just that the clothes help the beautiful woman (inside and outside) exude that little extra “umph” of confidence! For me, this is the piece right now!
