When I got engaged I couldn’t wait to register. We had a very clear idea of the items we were going to register for, what we needed, and what would be practical and useful for years to come. Yet, when it came to creating my baby registry, I was in the dark. Literally. I had no clue what items were needed (with the exception of a stroller, crib, and rocking chair…), why certain items were essential, and didn’t have the inside scoop on those “must have, make your life easier products.” Luckily I had friends who went before me and I really picked their brains (to the point where I was apologizing for sending yet another text message). Their feedback helped me decide between different car seats, cribs, swings, swaddles… you name it, I asked about it. So, when I received feedback from a few readers requesting the items that were on my registry, I thought it only appropriate to “pay it forward” so to speak. Since I’ve only been a mom for a mere 6 days, I can’t yet attest to my experience with these products (another post for another day!), but I can tell you that I can’t wait to use them, as they were all highly recommended by those I trust most!
A few places that I recommend creating registries at are Amazon, BabiesR’Us, and a Nordstrom wish-list.
