Over the weekend, I was looking through photos of this time last year and it’s hard to believe that this coming weekend was Easter (a year ago)… our backyard wasn’t quite finished yet, but I remember being so excited for one of our first, bigger, family gatherings in over a year…
And while we’re still several weeks away from Easter 2022, going down memory lane reminded me that it was time to start thinking about the Easter festivities for this year… … weather permitting there will be the traditional Easter egg hunting for hours outside, good food, family (with a new little lady this year), and lots of memories…
So today I compiled what I hope will be a fairly comprehensive post… filled with dresses to wear for yourself (and kiddos… well girls, I tried to do boys but didn’t feel like I really knew what I was doing, haha), things to fill the Easter baskets with… and an easy table setting, complete with our brunch menu for this year. And if you don’t celebrate Easter everything, except the baskets, is good for a special occasion this spring season!

EASTER DRESSES

I purchased the smocked midi dress last year and loved the fit… and that it had pockets too (it does require a skirt underneath it though). But I think that all these dresses would make beautiful options for this Easter… or really any special occasion you have this spring/summer….
I also found a few cute dresses at Target that I thought would work too, like this flutter short sleeve dress (looks very similar to a loveshackfancy dress), eyelet mini dress (similar to the one above), balloon sleeve dress, and this flutter tiered dress.

I just ordered the customized Easter baskets for the girls and can’t wait to receive them. I always love tossing in a bathing suit and some cute customized items… and then the usual candy. I know Harper would love the personalized hair clips, and that Camille would like the name puzzle and crayons!

Assuming it’s warm enough outside, I think all of these outfits would be so cute… and would work for other occasions in the spring and summer season. I purchased the lace and floral dress for the girls to wear on our trip to Hawaii and they loved it so much they wanted to wear it everyday…
And Camille loves the little jellie sandals (Harper wore them when she was younger too)… they’re easy to take on and off and comfortable enough for her to run around….

TABLE SETTING
This was our table setting last year and I would do the same thing again this Easter… it’s neutral, with organic textures, and personal touches. And for the past several years, this has been our menu (if it works, why fix it, right??):
Ham
Quiche (this recipe looks so delicious)
Fresh Berries
Arugula Salad w/shaved parmesan + avocado (this is my favorite lemon vinaigrette to drizzle on top)
Banana Muffins (going with a gluten free/dairy free mix here)
A few bunny waffles for the girls
