Back and backless has always been my thing. I’ve always thought that there was something about a woman’s back that exuded refined elegance. So it was only natural that at my first “grown up” event post college graduation I purchased a long black dress with a high neckline. From the front I likely looked a prude, but when you drifted your attention to the party that was going on in the back, it became a whole different story. I can’t explain the confidence that I felt in the dress… maybe it was because I wasn’t focused on pulling up, down, or sucking in (you women know what I am talking about here), I was just able to “be.” Cocktail in hand, handsome man on my arm, smiles all night… sometimes that’s all you need to exude an air of confidence… which, in my opinion, is when women look their best 🙂 And since that’s exactly the mood I wanted for our Valentine’s Day dinner this past weekend, this top was only a natural choice…
