One thing I love about meals out in Italy are how beautifully the tables are always set. Whether it’s by the beach at a beach club, or in more urban areas, everything from the beautiful tablecloths to plates truly inspires. Sharing a few snaps of some of my favorites from the past…

And so when we were at home this past weekend, and craving the feeling of “being out” but wanting to still enjoy the comforts of home, I decided to dress up our outdoor table for a night in. I brought out the tablecloth I purchased during the LDW weekend sales, added in a fall centerpiece and some favorite flameless candles (these are so realistic looking), and it sort of felt as if we were back enjoying the beautiful tables of Italy.

So whether you have a simple fall gathering this coming season, or a more elaborate one with family and friends, or just looking to have a fun “night in” like we did, hopefully this can inspire you to pull out those nice plates and glasses and gather around the table (where I always feel the best conversations are had).
