One of the most frequently asked questions I tend to receive is about how to pack efficiently for a trip to Europe. And in all honesty, efficiency wasn’t really in my packing vocabulary when we first started traveling (I was known to pack a suitcase weighing in at 68lbs…).
But as my styled evolved, and with it my wardrobe, so too did my packing capabilities. I realized that by bringing along versatile pieces, I could easily make an outfit feel dressed up, or casual, all depending on the accessories I chose to pair with it.
Take this mixed media drop waist dress I’ve taken to Europe two summers in a row. For daytime, I’ve worn it with sneakers and a cropped trench… yet for evening, I easily dressed it up with a pretty slide and a statement pair of earrings. Same with the other dresses… sneakers for day, slides and jewelry for the evening (and a smaller bag).
So if you’re looking for a bit of packing inspo for any summer travels this season, I hope this post helps a bit. Below, I’ve included a collage, but then I break all the pieces down and show you how I’ve worn them on previous travels.
And with that, I hope everyone has a wonderful day ahead!
