When we were in Paris, I had so many places I wanted to check off of my list (most of them had to do with indulging in food though…) that we simply couldn’t get to them all. Like with our last two Euro trips, the last time we were in Paris it poured rain (I was beginning to think that we were cursed). The vendors along the Seine were shut down, and most of the sidewalk cafes relegated you to their indoor seating (and come on now, Paris isn’t known for their indoor cafes…). And the gardens? Well, they were simply too muddy to visit. Yet, with the mild temps this time around, the gardens were a must visit on this go around. With the temps cool in the morning and warming up by mid afternoon layering was a must… and with all the walking we were doing (I REFUSED to take a cab this time around… you miss stumbling upon too much beauty…) these sporty kicks made another Euro appearance… and I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I fit right in with the chic Parisian ladies who all donned the “sporty chic” trend. To top it off, the cashmere sweater (well, t-shirt) provided just the right amount of warmth when the jacket came off. Avoir un bon weekend tout le monde!
