As summer creeps up on us my mind races to cut off shorts, sandals, and beach-y wave-y (is that a word??) hair. Simple make-up and longer evenings. Extended weekends and longer, highly anticipated trips. And here is where I am perpetually torn. I truly believe in investing money in traveling, but I also want to look cute while doing it! So as the theme goes, it’s all about the balance. We book a trip and I acquiesce to pull back the reigns on some spending. Below, I’ve compiled some of my “summer wants” for my upcoming trips, all under $100 (and, in all honesty, most are under $75). I’m able to look “cute” all while saving money for vacation fun (I’m thinking poolside cocktails, delicious dinners, and relaxing massages)… is it vacation yet?
