13 Ways I’ve Styled Suede Clogs For Fall (and beyond)

When the suede clogs resurged last year (or maybe it was the year before that, I can’t quite remember), it took me a minute to figure them out. I mean, in the comfort department there was nothing to figure out, they nailed it there. It was more from a styling perspective. Shoes can be tricky… balancing them out with bottoms… and that’s where the suede clog style got me. So after a bit of trial and error, I found what I feel works best for these amazingly comfortable, and might I add warm, shoes…

For a chic daytime look, I recommend wide-leg jeans. Call me “old” but I still can’t quite embrace the look of jeans that bag and bunch at the ankles… and the wide leg jeans seem to fix this issue, as they lay perfectly over the suede clogs…

For an easy off duty look, I love them paired with a wide-leg trouser lounge pant, with the same styling reasons as above. And if I’m coming from a workout, or heading to one, I pair them with leggings and an oversized sweatshirt of sweater…

The two pairs I’ve been wearing in rotation are the suede clogs from Quince (dune color) and the Ugg Goldenstar clogs. Both pairs are incredibly comfortable and feel as if you’re walking on clouds… the main difference being that the Ugg pair has a bit of a platform (which I always appreciate, haha), and a strap in the back (which makes them a tad easier to walk faster in). Sizing wise, for the Quince clogs I am a 6.5 and bought the 7, but in hindsight the 6 would have been better, and for the Ugg pair I am a 6.5 and bought the 7 and they fit perfectly.

You can wear them solo or, for added warmth, with a sock.
